Clients regularly tell me I'm the strongest massage therapist they've ever worked with — and the most controlled. My deep tissue work isn't about brute force; it's about finding the exact fiber that needs to release and letting it go without pain.
My approach
I layer deep tissue patiently. I warm the tissue first, work methodically from superficial to deep, and communicate constantly so pressure never crosses the line into pain. Clients often tell me they feel looser than they have in years — sometimes tearing up in relief on the drive home.
Common concerns I address
Deep tissue is my tool of choice for stubborn, long-standing tightness that lighter work can't reach.
- Chronic upper trap and shoulder knots
- IT band, glute, and hamstring tightness
- Sciatic-pattern discomfort
- Postural tension from desk or driving hours
- Repetitive-strain issues in wrists and forearms
